O2 Connect Groups

Connect groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why these small groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

Sign up Sunday happens on Sunday May 5th after the 10am service, with a whole heap of stands where you can meet the Connect Group leaders and register your interest. Alternatively, you can click on the individual group links below to register your interest.

Danny Silk's practical examples and poignant stories will leave you with the power to draw healthy boundaries, communicate in love, and ultimately protect your connections so you can.

Bring note pad and pen if you would like to take notes. We will be watching a DVD and having a short discussion afterwards about what has been watched.

How confident do you feel in talking about matters of faith? Do you wish you could express your beliefs with more effectiveness? We will use Mary Jo Sharp's Why do you believe that? in a practical seven-session study and gain understanding and skill to share Jesus effectively with others, and you'll better understand your own faith. Answer your doubts, build your confidence, and start changing lives.

Bring: There is a workbook for this, price to be confirmed, though I will try to have a couple of them for loan.

We want to see God transform our city, bringing hope, light, truth to every heart. Come join us in prayer walking different areas of this city, praying for God's truth to replace the lies that the enemy has spoken over those places and people.

We will begin to form a map of what God is speaking in different areas to help us to continue to pray strategically for our city.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

Dessert nibbles and tea/coffee will be provided. This runs for 11 weeks and will include a weekend get together around Week 7/8. Come along, bring a friend and let's explore the meaning of life together.

Always wanted to be a missionary? Why not start at home. Matthew 13:9 "Who has an ear, let him hear". Our purpose is to reach out to the hurt and lost and let God's presence be known in Tauranga. Our group will meet on Sundays after church, share a light lunch together at O2 where we can connect and pray for our city followed by group outreach in Tauranga CBD.

Freedom course

Sam & Michelle Bayly & Rae Stokes

A part of our vision at O2 is to help people “Find Freedom” in every area of their lives.

This 11 week course is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you in every area of your life.

This course has been hugely popular in churches all over the world, and participants come away really changed by the end of it.

This group will be the pilot group for this course, that we one day hope to roll out to everyone who calls O2 Church home.

At the end of the course there is a one day Freedom Conference which runs over a Saturday and focuses on solidifying what you have learned in Freedom by helping you take next steps to overcome your past and lay a foundation for walking in daily freedom. This will be on Sat 25th May.

Tuesday 7-8:30pm

Location: Sam & Michelle’s house

Cost: There is a $15 charge for the Freedom course workbook

This course is currently at capacity, but please email hello@o2church.org.nz to reserve a spot in term 3.
